I used to wish all the time I could hear that music in the background. And hey, it could warn you of things like scary moments. :0)Inklingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14173567199140492921noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4735284679130338517.post-75598033339606046992009-04-03T07:19:00.000-07:002009-04-03T07:19:00.000-07:00I thought this was a good and funny blog :)I thought this was a good and funny blog :)Amberhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11692897932694365285noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4735284679130338517.post-19545416362580426862009-04-03T06:01:00.000-07:002009-04-03T06:01:00.000-07:00I think it goes a little deeper than just wanting ...I think it goes a little deeper than just wanting to be in a movie. I think that we have watched so many movies in our life time that we have become desensitized to real life. We think that our lives HAVE to be as dramatic as in a movie because that is what we have been conditioned to believe real life is like. We think that if we aren't pining away for our spouse while they are at work, then we lack romance in our marriage. If we don't desparately need each other, then we must not be in love because that's how movie characters are. Many women feel that if their husband isn't writing them love notes and bringing flowers constantly and phoning them many times during the day, then something must be wrong in their marriage, because, afterall, that is how it is done in the movies.

In these days of the breakdown of the family, people actually spend less time together as a couple. They don't have role models for how a couple's relationship should be. The only role models they have are on the big screen. Unfortunately, life is compacted in to 1 1/2 hours during a movie, but people expect that their entire life should mirror what they have just experienced in 1 1/2 hours. Movies have become the role model for people's relationships.Delirioushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01564398770468606675noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4735284679130338517.post-78072566464904145512009-04-03T03:18:00.000-07:002009-04-03T03:18:00.000-07:00This is really funny! Now I'm going to be more aware of those "movie moments" in my life and when someone makes a one-liner comment, I'll listen hard and maybe hear the soundtrack swell.
:0)Nenehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13847303868378288229noreply@blogger.com
